dlmodNextIndex
Module: DLMOD-MIB
OID (symbolic): DLMOD-MIB::dlmodNextIndex
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.2021.14.1
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: Integer32
Access: read-only
Description: The index number of next appropiate unassigned entry in dlmodTable
What is dlmodNextIndex?
This read-only Integer32 returns the index number of the next unassigned slot available in dlmodTable, the table of dynamically loadable modules. Admins and management scripts read this before creating a new module entry, so they know which index to use for the new row without colliding with an existing one. For example, if dlmodTable currently has entries at indexes 1 and 2, this object would return 3 as the next free slot to use.
