Category: Technology: VLAN, Vendor: D-Link
Description: Manages VLAN creation, membership, tagging, and filtering configuration on D-Link 3100 series switches.
Start monitoring vendor-neutral, standards-based MIB, any SNMPv3-capable network device (SNMP engine identity/boot/clock status) with a free 30-day trial of IPNetwork Monitor. Import MIBs, browse SNMP OIDs, create custom SNMP monitors, configure alerts, and monitor any SNMP-enabled network device from a single console.
What Is DLINK-3100-vlan-MIB?
DLINK-3100-vlan-MIB is a D-Link proprietary MIB (extending the standard Q-BRIDGE-MIB) providing VLAN and IP-multicast support for DLINK-3100-family devices. Its objects cover a MIB version and maximum table-count, a VLAN-name table (name, tag, associated ifIndex), a per-port VLAN-mode table, unknown-multicast flooding behavior, default-VLAN and 802.1v protocol-VLAN support flags, a special-tag table (VLAN ID, status) with a companion current-tag table (reserved/active flags), and private-edge-VLAN support/version flags. As a configuration MIB it lets an administrator confirm VLAN tagging and private-edge-VLAN support on DLINK-3100 devices. It is deployed on the D-Link DLINK-3100 device family. Engineers can download the DLINK-3100-vlan-MIB file directly to load it into their MIB browser.
IPNetwork Monitor allows you to monitor SNMP objects defined in DLINK-3100-vlan-MIB. Use the built-in SNMP Monitoring Browser to explore available variables, view their current values and descriptions, and select the objects you want to monitor. You can then create SNMP monitors, configure thresholds, and receive alerts when monitored values change.
Supported Devices
- D-Link DLINK-3100 device family
Monitoring Examples
An administrator checks vlanNameTag and vlanPortModeTable to confirm a VLAN's tag and port mode are configured correctly on a DLINK-3100 device.
What Can Be Monitored
- VLAN tag and port-mode configuration
