What is dhcpv4RAIFOption?

This read-only integer reports whether the relay is configured to add the Relay Agent Information (RAIF) Option to DHCP packets it forwards. Admins check it to confirm whether option-82-style relay information is being inserted, which many upstream DHCP servers rely on for subnet selection or client authentication. For example, a value of enable(1) confirms the relay is tagging forwarded requests with RAIF option data as described in RFC 3046.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.2.1.0.3.1.3.1
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> DHCP-V4-RELAY-MIB::dhcpv4RAIFOption

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.2.1.0.3.1.3.1.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> DHCP-V4-RELAY-MIB::dhcpv4RAIFOption.1
