swL2PVIDAutoAssignmentState
Module: DGS3426G-L2MGMT-MIB
OID (symbolic): DGS3426G-L2MGMT-MIB::swL2PVIDAutoAssignmentState
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.171.11.70.11.2.17.2
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: INTEGER
Access: read-write
Description: This object controls the PVID auto assigment state. If 'Auto-assign PVID' is disabled, PVID only be changed by PVID configuration (user changes explicitly). The VLAN configuration will not automatically change PVID.
If 'Auto-assign PVID' is enabled, PVID will be possibly changed by PVID or VLAN configuration. When user configures a port to VLAN X's untagged membership, this port's PVID will be updated with VLAN X. In the form of VLAN list command, PVID is updated with last item of VLAN list. When user removes a port from the untagged membership of the PVID's VLAN, the port's PVID will be assigned with 'default VLAN'.
What is swL2PVIDAutoAssignmentState?
Controls whether a port's PVID (native/default VLAN) updates automatically when its untagged VLAN membership changes; when disabled, PVID only changes via explicit PVID configuration, and when enabled, adding a port to a VLAN's untagged membership also updates its PVID to that VLAN. Enable it if you want VLAN assignment commands to manage PVID for you; disable it if you want tight, explicit control over each port's native VLAN.
