swL2PVIDAutoAssignmentState
Module: DGS3426-L2MGMT-MIB
OID (symbolic): DGS3426-L2MGMT-MIB::swL2PVIDAutoAssignmentState
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.171.11.70.1.2.17.2
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: INTEGER
Access: read-write
Description: This object controls the PVID auto assigment state. If 'Auto-assign PVID' is disabled, PVID only be changed by PVID configuration (user changes explicitly). The VLAN configuration will not automatically change PVID.
If 'Auto-assign PVID' is enabled, PVID will be possibly changed by PVID or VLAN configuration. When user configures a port to VLAN X's untagged membership, this port's PVID will be updated with VLAN X. In the form of VLAN list command, PVID is updated with last item of VLAN list. When user removes a port from the untagged membership of the PVID's VLAN, the port's PVID will be assigned with 'default VLAN'.
What is swL2PVIDAutoAssignmentState?
Controls whether a port's PVID (default/native VLAN) is automatically updated when its untagged VLAN membership changes: when enabled(1), assigning a port as an untagged member of VLAN X updates its PVID to X (or to the last VLAN in a list command), and removing it from its PVID's untagged membership resets the PVID to the default VLAN; when disabled(2), PVID only changes via explicit PVID configuration. An admin disables this when they want full manual control over each port's PVID independent of VLAN membership changes.
