Description: This variable is used to dynamically initiate RIP or OSPF on the switch. Setting this variable to none causes RIP or OSPF to be shutdown if they have been enabled
What is chassisRoutingProt?
This read-write setting dynamically turns dynamic routing on or off on the switch, choosing none, rip, or ospf; setting it to none shuts down whichever protocol was running. An admin uses this to disable RIP/OSPF on a switch that should only route statically, without needing a reboot.
