Module: DEVICE-MIB

OID (symbolic): DEVICE-MIB::chassisCurrentRingsOnMaster

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.5812.1.2.22

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: OCTET STRING

Description: This object gives the current list of ring IDs which this master (SNE) controls. If rings are added or taken-off, the system has to be rebooted to provide the correct list. This is valid only for an SNE.

What is chassisCurrentRingsOnMaster?

This read-only list shows the ring IDs this SNE master currently controls in practice, as opposed to chassisRingsOnMaster's configured list; a reboot is required before added or removed rings take effect. Admins compare the two to check whether a pending ring reassignment is still waiting on a restart.
