Description: Setting this object to true(1) causes the device to upload the entire Configuration File onto the TFTP server on the service provider side. aniDevTftpServer is the designated TFTP server used in this upload process. Setting the object to false(2) is not allowed.

If a Get request is sent before this object is actually set, the value false(2) will be returned.

What is aniDevControlStartUpload?

Setting this object to true instructs the device to upload its entire configuration file to a TFTP server, specifically the server address configured separately in aniDevTftpServer. An administrator uses this to trigger an on-demand backup of a device's running configuration before making changes, or to archive configs across many devices. For example, before applying a firmware update, an engineer could set this to true(1) to push the current config file to a designated TFTP archive server as a safety copy.
