Description: Enable/Disable Spanning Tree. A (1) enables, a (2) disables.
What is spanOnOff?
This enables or disables Spanning Tree Protocol on the switch. Turning it on protects against Layer 2 loops when multiple redundant links exist between switches; turning it off is sometimes done in small single-switch deployments where loop prevention isn't needed.
