Description: Physically resets the unit - use with care. A (1) resets the unit, a (2) does nothing.
What is miscReset?
Writing reset(1) to this object physically reboots the switch immediately, while noop(2) does nothing; the DESCRIPTION itself warns to 'use with care.' Use this when you need to remotely power-cycle a switch that's become unresponsive, understanding it will drop all active traffic.
