dellNetPfcPerPrioRequests
Module: DELL-NETWORKING-FPSTATS-MIB
OID (symbolic): DELL-NETWORKING-FPSTATS-MIB::dellNetPfcPerPrioRequests
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.6027.3.27.1.11.1.2
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: Counter64
Access: read-only
Description: PFC tx counters.
What is dellNetPfcPerPrioRequests?
This read-only Counter64 counts Priority Flow Control (PFC) PAUSE frames this device transmitted, per 802.1p priority, for this device (the per-interface duplicate is dellNetIfPfcPerPrioRequests) -- i.e. how many times this side asked its link partner to pause a specific priority's traffic. An admin sees this climb when this device's own ingress buffers for that priority are under pressure; it is the "we are asking for a pause" side of the PFC handshake, useful for confirming lossless QoS is actually being enforced rather than just configured.
