Description: This object specifies the total number of bytes the managed system has allocated for all accounting records. The value size4K(1) means the managed system allocated 4K bytes for the accounting table, etc.
What is acctOperLogSize?
This read-only integer reports the number of bytes the DECserver has actually allocated for accounting records right now, using the same size4K(2) through size512K(9) scale as acctAdminLogSize. Admins read it to confirm what log capacity is currently in effect on the running system, since a pending change to acctAdminLogSize won't show up here until after a reboot. For example, if acctAdminLogSize was just changed to size128K(7) but acctOperLogSize still reads size16K(4), that mismatch tells the admin the device hasn't been rebooted yet to apply it.
