Description: The reason for failing to authenticate the message. A value of badComName(1) indicates that the community string in the failed message does not match a community supported by the device. This corresponds to the incrementing of the mib-ii object 'snmpInBadCommunityNames'. A value of badComUse(2) indicates that the user id (ip address and udp port) does not match a user id supported by the device. This corresponds the the incrementing of the mib-ii object 'snmpInBadCommunityUses'.

What is pcomSnmpAuthUnauthReason?

Explains why an SNMP request was rejected: badComName(1) means the community string itself wasn't recognized (mapping to MIB-II's snmpInBadCommunityNames), while badComUse(2) means the source address/port wasn't authorized for an otherwise-valid community (mapping to snmpInBadCommunityUses). An admin uses this to distinguish a mistyped community from an unauthorized host using the right one.
