esysMgmtResets

Module: DEC-ElanConc

OID (symbolic): DEC-ElanConc::esysMgmtResets

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.36.2.18.1.2.3.2

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: Counter

Access: read-only

Description: Number of times the device was initialized with a management command using esysInitSwitch. Power Ups, Management Resets and Unsolicited Resets are all mutually exclusive.

What is esysMgmtResets?

Counts how many times an admin (or management software) deliberately reset the device using esysInitSwitch. A high count relative to esysUnsolicitedResets suggests restarts are routine and intentional rather than caused by faults.
