ebrMultiPortStatus

Module: DEC-ElanConc

OID (symbolic): DEC-ElanConc::ebrMultiPortStatus

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.36.2.18.1.4.7.1.1.5

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description: The status of this entry. The meanings of the values are:

portMask(1) : The static filtering for this address is specified by the MultiPortAllowedToGoTo field.

lockDown(2) : The static filtering for this address is specified as 'locked-down' to the port specified by the ebrMultiPortPortNum field. This address will be allowed to source frames only from the specified port, and frames destined to this address will be sent out only on the specified port.

maskAndLock(3) : The static filtering for this address is specified by both the ebrMultiPortAllowedToGoTo as well as 'locked-down' as explained above for 'lockDown(2)'.

hello(4) : This is the address used by the bridge in the destination field of Spanning Tree Hellos. It is not a writeable value.

filter(5) : This address will be filtered on all ports.

invalid(6) : Writing this value to the object removes the corresponding entry.

What is ebrMultiPortStatus?

Controls how this multi-port entry is enforced: portMask uses the AllowedToGoTo bitmap, lockDown pins the address to one port, maskAndLock combines both, filter blocks the address everywhere, and writing invalid(6) deletes the entry. hello(4) is reserved for the bridge's own Spanning Tree address and is not writable.

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> DEC-ElanConc::ebrMultiPortStatus

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.36.2.18.1.4.7.1.1.5.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> DEC-ElanConc::ebrMultiPortStatus.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.36.2.18.1.4.7.1.1.5.1 i <value>
