snalcCrossConnectSlowConnectThreshold
Module: CXSnaLinkConversionModule-MIB
OID (symbolic): CXSnaLinkConversionModule-MIB::snalcCrossConnectSlowConnectThreshold
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.495.2.1.6.35.11.1.9
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: INTEGER
Access: read-write
Description: Determines the number of attempts that are made to establish a cross- connection using the snalcCrossConnectConnectInterval . When the threshold defined by this object is reached, slow connect mode is initialized. In this mode, cross- connection attempts continue, but the interval between attempts is set by snalcCrossConnectSlowConnectInterval.
Range of Values: 0 - 254 seconds (0 disables slow connect mode)
Default Value: 0 (disabled)
Related Objects: snalcCrossConnectConnectInterval snalcCrossConnectSlowConnectInterval
Configuration Changed: administrative and operative
What is snalcCrossConnectSlowConnectThreshold?
Sets how many failed attempts at the normal connect interval (0-254, default 0/disabled) are tolerated before the device switches to the longer snalcCrossConnectSlowConnectInterval for further retries. An admin enables this by setting a nonzero value so persistent failures back off to a slower retry cadence instead of retrying rapidly forever.
