What is cxSmConfig?

Writing save(1) to this object commits the device's current running configuration into flash memory so that it becomes the configuration loaded on the next warm start. Administrators use this after making configuration changes through the console or SNMP, to persist those changes before a planned or unplanned restart wipes them from volatile memory. For example, an admin who just adjusted several settings would write save(1) here to make sure those changes survive the device's next reboot instead of reverting to the last saved config.
