Module: CXCommonConsole-MIB

OID (symbolic): CXCommonConsole-MIB::cxCcQueueDepth

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.495.2.1.5.14.6

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Range of Values: 0 - 218

Default Value: 0

Configuration Changed: administrative

What is cxCcQueueDepth?

This value sets the maximum number of log messages the Common Console retains for the console device's output while that device is flow-controlled (XOFF'ed); once that limit is reached, further new log messages targeted at the console are discarded. An admin tunes this to decide how much of a log backlog to preserve during a flow-control pause versus how aggressively to drop overflow messages. For example, raising cxCcQueueDepth from its default toward the maximum of 128 lets more pending log lines survive an XOFF condition before any get dropped.

Examples

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> CXCommonConsole-MIB::cxCcQueueDepth

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.495.2.1.5.14.6.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> CXCommonConsole-MIB::cxCcQueueDepth.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.495.2.1.5.14.6.1 i <value>
