What is cxCcLogDevice?

This value enables or disables the logging device within the chassis; when enabled, the Common Console sends system-generated messages to the log located at the slot given by cxCcLogDeviceSlot. An admin toggles this to control whether events get written to the log file at all, keeping it at the enabled(2) default unless log traffic needs to be stopped entirely. For example, setting cxCcLogDevice to disabled(1) on a chassis with no populated log card stops the Common Console from continuing to route messages toward that slot.
