ctWanMMuxGroupDelChannel

Module: CTRON-WAN-MULTI-IMUX-MIB

OID (symbolic): CTRON-WAN-MULTI-IMUX-MIB::ctWanMMuxGroupDelChannel

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.52.4.1.2.7.3.2.3.1.6

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description: Delete a channel to the channel list used by this Inverse Multiplexer group. Before a channel is deleted, the channel must exist in the Inverse Multiplexer group's channel table. When this object is set, it is set with the ifindex value of the channel the user wishes to delete from the channel table. This object is always read as a 1.

What is ctWanMMuxGroupDelChannel?

Setting this read-write INTEGER to a channel's ifIndex value removes that channel from an inverse multiplexer group's channel list, provided the channel currently exists in the group; the object always reads back as 1. Admins use it to shrink or reconfigure a bonded WAN group, for example when retiring one of its physical DS1/E1 lines. Writing ctWanMMuxGroupDelChannel with the ifIndex of a failing DS1 line removes it from the group so the remaining channels continue carrying traffic.
