ctWanMMuxGroupAdmin

Module: CTRON-WAN-MULTI-IMUX-MIB

OID (symbolic): CTRON-WAN-MULTI-IMUX-MIB::ctWanMMuxGroupAdmin

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.52.4.1.2.7.3.2.3.1.3

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description: Used to enable and disable an Inverse Multiplexer group which evenly distributes data traffic in a properly sequenced fashion, over two or more single channel Wide Area Network connections such as DS1, E1, DDS, or SYNC. Each of the single channel connections must be configured with an appropriate datalink protocol. A minimum of two channels, each assigned to it's own physical interface, is required before the Inverse Multiplexer group can be enabled.

What is ctWanMMuxGroupAdmin?

This read-write INTEGER enables or disables an inverse multiplexer group, which evenly distributes traffic in sequence over two or more single-channel WAN connections (such as DS1, E1, DDS, or SYNC); at least two channels on separate physical interfaces must be assigned to the group before it can be enabled. Admins use this to bring a bonded multi-channel WAN link into or out of service independently of other groups on the same IMUX entity. Setting ctWanMMuxGroupAdmin to enabled(2) after adding two DS1 channels via ctWanMMuxGroupAddChannel activates that bonded link for traffic.
