ctWanMMuxChannelStatus

Module: CTRON-WAN-MULTI-IMUX-MIB

OID (symbolic): CTRON-WAN-MULTI-IMUX-MIB::ctWanMMuxChannelStatus

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.52.4.1.2.7.3.2.4.1.8

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-only

Description: Returns the current status of the channel associated with an inverse multiplexer group. The channel is active when the group admin status is enabled, and the channel is operational. The channel is inactive when either the group admin status is disabled, or the channel is not operational.

What is ctWanMMuxChannelStatus?

This read-only INTEGER reports whether a channel in an inverse multiplexer group is active(2) — meaning the group's admin status is enabled and the channel is operational — or inactive(1) if either the group is disabled or the channel itself is not operational. Admins check this per-channel status to pinpoint which specific bonded member is down when the overall group's throughput drops. Seeing ctWanMMuxChannelStatus as inactive(1) for one channel while its group is enabled points to a physical or link-layer fault on that specific DS1/E1 line.
