Description: Used to enable and disable an Inverse Multiplexer group which evenly distributes data traffic in a properly sequenced fashion, over two or more single channel Wide Area Network connections such as DS1, E1, DDS, or SYNC. Each of the single channel connections must be configured with an appropriate datalink protocol. A minimum of two channels, each assigned to it's own physical interface, is required before the Inverse Multiplexer group can be enabled.
What is ctWanMuxGroupAdmin?
This read-write setting enables or disables one specific Inverse Multiplexer group, which bonds two or more single-channel WAN links (such as DS1, E1, DDS, or sync serial) into one logical connection with evenly distributed, sequenced traffic. An admin can only set it to enabled(2) once at least two channels, each on its own physical interface with a configured datalink protocol, have been assigned to the group. For example, a group with only one channel assigned would reject an enable attempt until a second channel is added via ctWanMuxGroupAddChannel.
