ctWanMuxGroupAddChannel

Module: CTRON-WAN-IMUX-MIB

OID (symbolic): CTRON-WAN-IMUX-MIB::ctWanMuxGroupAddChannel

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.52.4.1.2.7.3.1.2.1.4

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description: Add a channel to the channel list used by this Inverse Multiplexer group. Before a channel is added, the channel must be assigned a MIB II ifindex, and an acceptable Datalink Protocol. When this object is set, it is set with the ifindex value. This object is always read as a 1.

What is ctWanMuxGroupAddChannel?

Setting this object adds a channel, identified by its MIB-II ifIndex value, to the channel list of an Inverse Multiplexer group, but only after that interface has already been assigned an acceptable datalink protocol. An admin uses it during group provisioning to build up the set of physical WAN links that will be bonded together; the object always reads back as 1 regardless of how many channels exist. For example, an admin would set this to the ifIndex of a newly configured E1 interface to fold it into an existing inverse-mux group.
