Description: Selects 802.3 length verfication for Ethernet FDDI frame translation.

If set to Enabled(1), the device consults the 802.3 length field to determine the amount of pad to removed regardless of frame size. This setting will cause the device to strip unnecessary pad in frames greater than 64 bytes.

If set to Disabled(2), the default value, the 802.3 length field is only interpreted if the frame size is 64 bytes. For frames greater than 64 bytes, it is assumed that there is no 802.3 pad in the frame.

If set to Not-Supported(3), the device does not support this feature and will only strip pad from ethernet frames that are 64 bytes in length.

What is ctTransEthernetFddiPadVerify?

Controls how the device decides how much Ethernet padding to strip when translating Ethernet frames to FDDI. Enabled always consults the 802.3 length field, stripping pad even from frames over 64 bytes; the disabled default only checks that field for exactly-64-byte frames; not-supported means the device can only ever strip padding from 64-byte frames.
