Description: A unique number for each flow. The encoding is as explained. bit 0-15 = Table Index (0-64K) bit 16-18 = Table Number (0-3) bit 19-31 = Channel Number (0-32)
What is l3FlowIndex?
An obsolete unique per-flow identifier from Cabletron's SSR Layer 3 flow table, packed as table index (bits 0-15), table number (bits 16-18), and channel number (bits 19-31). Admins would have used this composite value to locate a specific flow entry, but this table is superseded by standard RMON on SSR platforms.
