Description: The way in which this user was assigned to a vlan. Inherited(2) signifies that the user was assigned its vlan based on the default for its port. Static(4) signifies the user was assigned its vlan by the vlan manager application.

What is sfpsAliasTableVlanPolicy?

An enumerated value describing how this user (alias) was assigned to its VLAN: other(1), inherited(2) meaning it took the port's default VLAN, autoRegistered(3) meaning the switch assigned it based on packet analysis and VLAN-manager criteria, or static(4) meaning a VLAN manager application explicitly assigned it. This is a useful field to check when a device ends up on an unexpected VLAN, since it tells you whether that assignment came from policy, auto-detection, or a manual override.
