ctIFRemap2Status

Module: CTRON-IF-REMAP-2-MIB

OID (symbolic): CTRON-IF-REMAP-2-MIB::ctIFRemap2Status

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.52.4.1.1.14.1.1.1.5

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description: Defines the status of the ifremap entry. Setting ctIFRemap2Status to a value of enable(1) has the effect of creating an entry in the table when it does not already exist. Setting ctIFRemap2Status to a value of disable(2) disables the entry and deletes the row from the table. Therefore this table only contains entries that are active.

What is ctIFRemap2Status?

This value controls whether a given source-to-destination remap row is active, with enable(1) creating the row and disable(2) both disabling and deleting it from the table. Because a disable actually removes the row rather than just deactivating it, this is the only supported way, via SNMP, to add or remove an ifremap relationship. For example, an admin sets ctIFRemap2Status to enable(1) for a slot1/port1-to-slot1/port3 entry to start mirroring, then to disable(2) later to tear the mapping down entirely.

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> CTRON-IF-REMAP-2-MIB::ctIFRemap2Status

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.52.4.1.1.14.1.1.1.5.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> CTRON-IF-REMAP-2-MIB::ctIFRemap2Status.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.52.4.1.1.14.1.1.1.5.1 i <value>
