Module: CTRON-ETHERNET-PARAMETERS-MIB
OID (symbolic): CTRON-ETHERNET-PARAMETERS-MIB::ctAutoNegLocalTechnologyAbility
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.52.4.1.2.4.2.1.1.1.4
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: INTEGER
Access: read-only
Description: This indicates the technology ability of the local hardware.
The value is a sum. This sum initially takes the value zero. Then, for each technology, T, that the port supports, 2 raised to (T - 1) is added to the sum. For example, a port that supports 1000BASE-TFD (T = 18) and 1000BASE-T (T = 17) would return a value of 196608 ((2 ^ (18 - 1)) + (2 ^ (17 - 1))).
For ports supporting Auto-Negotiation, values should be calculated as follows:

What is ctAutoNegLocalTechnologyAbility?
This is a bitmask-encoded sum representing every Ethernet speed and duplex technology this port's hardware is physically capable of supporting. It lets an admin determine the port's maximum possible capability, independent of what's currently configured or advertised. For example, a value of 196608 decodes to support for both 1000BASE-T and 1000BASE-TFD, confirming the port hardware can run gigabit full duplex if enabled.
