What is ctBridgeTransTrEnetSnapState?
This read-write enumerated integer enables or disables a specific SNAP Ethernet-type translation table entry, with disabled(2) meaning the entry is excluded from the bridge's translation decisions even though the type value remains stored. An administrator uses this to selectively turn off one SNAP translation rule without erasing its configured Ethernet type, useful for isolating translation issues among several similar entries. For example, when testing whether a particular protocol's SNAP translation is causing frame corruption, the admin disables that entry's state while leaving other SNAP entries active.
