ctBridgeSdbGenericIORcvPort

Module: CTRON-BRIDGE-MIB

OID (symbolic): CTRON-BRIDGE-MIB::ctBridgeSdbGenericIORcvPort

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.52.4.1.2.3.9.4.1.2

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description: Either the value '0', or the port number of the port from which a frame must be received in order for this entry's filtering information to apply. A value of '0' indicates that this entry applies on all ports of the bridge for which there is no other applicable entry.

What is ctBridgeSdbGenericIORcvPort?

This read-write integer specifies either 0, applying to any port without a more specific entry, or the exact port number a frame must be received on for this generic filter's forwarding restriction to apply. An administrator uses this to make a generic special-database filter's forwarding behavior specific to a particular ingress port rather than bridge-wide. For example, to apply a generic filter's restriction only to frames entering on a specific FDDI ring port, the admin sets this value to that port's number instead of 0.
