Description: Add an entry to the permanent database to forward packets entering port 1 and filter packets entering port 2 if those packets are destined for the specified address.
What is permCreate20?
This read-write action object adds a permanent database entry that forwards packets entering port 1 to port 2 while filtering packets entering port 2 destined for the specified address. An admin uses this when a lasting one-directional forwarding rule is needed that should not be subject to the ageing or erasure behavior of the acquired database. For example, an admin who wants a print server's address permanently reachable from port 1's segment via port 2, but not the reverse, would configure this using permCreate20 rather than its acquired-database counterpart.
