What is pcTotRecErrs?
This read-only integer reports the total number of receive errors recorded for this PC's network card. An admin uses this rolled-up figure to decide whether to dig into the more specific receive error counters, such as CRC or alignment errors, for a particular workstation. For example, a PC with a rising pcTotRecErrs count would prompt the admin to check pcCRCErrs and pcAlignErrs next to determine the specific nature of the receive-side problem.
