Module: CTRON-BDG-MIB

OID (symbolic): CTRON-BDG-MIB::pcTooShort

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.52.2.2.1.1.1.30

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-only

Description: The number of packets that are too short. (under 64 bytes long).

What is pcTooShort?

This read-only integer counts packets received by this PC that were too short, under 64 bytes. An admin treats undersized packets as typically resulting from collision fragments elsewhere on the segment rather than a problem originating at the receiving PC itself. For example, a rise in pcTooShort at a PC connected to a heavily congested hub segment would likely correlate with a corresponding rise in collision counts elsewhere on that same segment.
