This read-only integer counts the number of multicast frames sent by this PC's network card. An admin watches for an unusually high multicast transmit count from an ordinary workstation as a possible sign of misconfigured or malfunctioning software generating excess multicast traffic. For example, a PC that should only be running standard office applications but shows a high pcMcastXmit count might have an application incorrectly configured to multicast discovery traffic too frequently.
