What is pcBytesXmit?
This read-only integer counts the total number of bytes transmitted by this PC's network card. An admin compares this against pcFramesXmit to estimate average frame size, and against expected application behavior to spot unusual data volumes leaving a workstation. For example, a PC whose pcBytesXmit spikes overnight despite pcApplication describing only light office software would prompt the admin to investigate unexpected background data transfer.
