What is pcAlignErrs?
This read-only integer counts alignment errors detected in packets received by this PC. An admin treats frame alignment errors as a physical-layer symptom, often appearing alongside CRC errors and pointing to cabling or connector problems on that PC's connection. For example, a workstation reporting both rising pcAlignErrs and pcCRCErrs together would lead the admin to inspect that machine's cable and jack rather than suspect a software issue.
