What is bdgdeviceVersion?
This read-only octet string reports the firmware release version currently running on the bridge. An admin checks this before troubleshooting to confirm whether the device is running outdated firmware that might explain a known bug, or to verify a firmware upgrade succeeded. For example, if this field reads "3.2" after an upgrade attempt that was supposed to install version 4.0, the admin would know the upgrade did not actually take effect.
