What is bdgdeviceErr?

This read-only counter tallies the total number of network errors the bridge has observed across the device. An admin treats a steadily rising bdgdeviceErr count as a red flag pointing to cabling, duplex mismatch, or hardware issues somewhere on the attached network segments. For example, if bdgdeviceErr jumps sharply right after a new cable run was connected to one of the bridge's ports, the admin would suspect a problem with that specific new cable.
