Description: The unique identifier of the bridge recorded as the root.
What is bdgdeviceDesigRoot?
This read-only octet string holds the unique bridge identifier of whichever bridge this device currently believes is the spanning tree root. An admin compares this against bdgdeviceBridgeID to determine whether this bridge is the root itself or is deferring to a different bridge elsewhere on the network. For example, if bdgdeviceDesigRoot does not match this bridge's own bdgdeviceBridgeID, the admin knows another bridge on the network has won the root election.
