What is bdgPortCRCErr?
This read-only counter tracks the number of packets received at this port that failed their Cyclical Redundancy Check. An admin uses a rising CRC error count to pinpoint physical-layer problems such as electrical noise, a damaged cable, or a failing NIC on the attached segment. For example, a steady trickle of bdgPortCRCErr increments on one port but not others would lead the admin to inspect that specific port's cable and connector for damage.
