What is trapDot1xMacAddrAuthFail?
This controls whether the AP sends an SNMP trap when a client fails MAC-address-based authentication under the 802.1X framework. An admin enables this to catch devices being rejected specifically at the MAC-address-authentication step. For example, if a device's MAC address isn't registered for network access, trapDot1xMacAddrAuthFail alerts the admin to that specific failed attempt.
