Description: The administrative enable/disable state for SNMP dot11StationAuthentication trap.
What is trapDot11StationAuthentication?
This controls whether the AP sends an SNMP trap each time a wireless station successfully authenticates. An admin enables this to get a real-time audit trail of devices being authenticated onto the wireless network. For example, correlating trapDot11StationAuthentication events with a known device inventory helps an admin spot an unfamiliar MAC address authenticating unexpectedly.
