Description: This values indicates the Permission on all the active filter entry for each Vap. The negative permission will be applied on any inactive entry or any MAC that is not in the table.

What is apvMacFilterPermission?

This sets the default permission policy applied to all active MAC filter entries for a specific VAP, determining whether listed MACs are allowed(1) or denied(2), with the opposite policy automatically applying to any MAC not in the table. An admin uses this to choose between a whitelist model, where only listed MACs are allowed, or a blacklist model, where only listed MACs are denied, per VAP. For example, setting apvMacFilterPermission to allowed(1) on a secure VAP means only the MAC addresses explicitly added to that VAP's filter table can associate, while every other device is denied.
