Description: This value indicates the retransmit timer length used by the authentication server.
What is apAuthenticationRetransmit?
This sets how many times the AP will retransmit an authentication request to the RADIUS server before giving up. An admin might raise this on a network with an unreliable path to the RADIUS server to reduce spurious authentication failures caused by dropped packets. For example, if clients occasionally fail to authenticate on a flaky WAN link to a remote RADIUS server, an admin could increase apAuthenticationRetransmit to give requests more chances to get through.
