What is ap8021xBroadcastKeyRefreshRate?
This sets how often, in minutes, the shared broadcast encryption key is rotated for 802.1X and WPA clients. An admin lowers this interval to reduce the window of exposure if the broadcast key were ever compromised, at the cost of a small amount of extra rekeying overhead. For example, a security-conscious admin might set ap8021xBroadcastKeyRefreshRate to 30 minutes instead of leaving it at a longer default interval.
