What is portSyncS?
This read-only OCTET STRING encodes the sync-enable status of each of the Slave unit's eight ports, one bit per port. An admin uses it to check whether timing-dependent equipment attached to the slave unit is receiving its sync signal. For example, portSyncS shows port 3 sync disabled, alerting the admin the radio on port 3 of the slave unit isn't receiving its sync signal.
