Module: CTINB2-MIB
OID (symbolic): CTINB2-MIB::ctInbUtilAbsoluteA
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.52.4.1.2.12.2.1.2.1.7
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: INTEGER
Access: read-only
Description: The percentage of absolute utilization of INB channel A by data transferred from the source module to the destination module during the last sampling interval. This percentage is calculated by dividing ctInbUtilByteCountA (a 64-bit entity which is calculated as specified above) by the theoretical maximum number of bytes that could have traversed INB channel A during the interval. Note that in order to increase precision, the value of this object is the actual percentage multiplied by 100 (that is, to determine the actual percentage, divide the value of this object by 100).
What is ctInbUtilAbsoluteA?
This read-only integer reports the percentage utilization of INB channel A between a source and destination module, calculated by dividing the actual byte count by the theoretical maximum bytes that could have traversed the channel during the interval. An admin uses this normalized figure as an easier-to-read congestion metric than raw byte counts. For example, ctInbUtilAbsoluteA reporting a high percentage for a given slot pair tells the admin channel A between those two boards is close to saturated.
