What is ctVirtualIfIndex?
This read-only integer returns the identifier of a virtual interface, such as an ATM logical circuit layered over a physical port. An admin uses it to identify a specific virtual interface entry when correlating it with other tables. For example, an admin uses ctVirtualIfIndex to identify which virtual interface entry corresponds to a specific ATM PVC configured on the device.
