Description: This variable identifies whether a SONET or a SDH signal is used across this interface.
What is ctSonetMediumType?
This read-write enumerated value selects whether a SONET or SDH signal is used across a given interface. An admin must set this to match the carrier's actual line type for correct framing to occur. For example, an admin in a European deployment sets ctSonetMediumType to sdh(2) to match the SDH-framed circuit delivered by the local carrier.
